Travel + leisure

For as long as a I can remember, I’ve been an explorer.

As a kid, the vantage points for surveying my neighbourhood were from a fort hidden in the woods near my back yard or the upper branches of an alder tree that gave me a bird's-eye view over fences and hedges.

While I'll still happily climb a tree, I prefer wandering an ancient city clogged with millions of people, or chilling out on a remote beach.

Below are some of my amazing adventures, often accompanied by my photos. Want more? Check out 70 magazine, which I co-founded and publish with a longtime collaborator and friend.

Since travel is so closely linked to food, beverage and lifestyle, be sure to check out those articles, too.
